For more than 45 years, the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra
has been the principal source of symphonic music for the residents of southern
New Mexico. The Orchestra is a unique combination of ethnically diverse professional,
semi-professional and student musicians from Las Cruces and surrounding areas.
The Orchestra performs under the baton of Music Director and Conductor, Lonnie
Klein. Symphony season ticket subscribers and financial donors comprise the
membership of the Las Cruces Symphony Association, a non-profit group governed
by a volunteer Board of Directors. Both the Association and the Symphony Guild
work to support educational outreach and youth-oriented programs, including

KHFM has been New Mexico's classical music radio
voice since November of 1954. We believe that the beauty, grace and joy of
great music can be available to everyone. It is not elitist; it is inclusive
and approachable. Classical music soothes the spirit and stimulates the soul
of each person who chooses to listen. We are committed to serving New Mexico
by continuing our classical music format, by being an effective link between
listeners and the goods and services they need, and by encouraging live music
performances and music education.
